Last weekend on a little lake in the forest: a young dragonfly is hanging on the grass to inflate and dry the wings. Shot on my Sony ILCE-7RM3 with the FE 90mm F2.8 G OSS Macro; Edited in Aurora HDR.
The ghost of the lake is an empty dragonfly larva in the moss. The larva is usually hiding under water in the mud – but one day those spacey creatures get out in the sun and a dragonfly makes her way out of it. Shot
Usually flies are quite annoying: walking over our food or land in our faces and we have no clue where their feet were just before… But if you take a closer look, they are quite fascinating creatures! For once… I only removed two sensor spots,
