The bedroom looks nice and inviting – except that pink is not my color.Too nice for an abandoned building: In the Château Banana half of the rooms are staged for photographers – and the others are full of trash!

Haute Couture
Two pairs of shoes rest on a mossy wall while the former owners… who knows?… (Whoever put the shoes there – I only capture what I find but never move or arrange anything on such locations…)
The Study
Today the room is empty – but I can easily imagine a desk, some chairs and a lot of books in this room…
Light in the Hallway
Sunlight enters the glass roof of the Château Lumière and floods the hallway on the first floor.
Main Entrance
The main entrance from the inside of the Château Lumière. A big door sheds light on the stairs to the ground floor.
Sunshine on the Loo
One of the bathrooms in the Château Lumière with a little sunlight peaking in. But assumably in the past all doors were closed during “business hours” and due to no windows, only artificial light was available.
In the Kitchen
Today the kitchen stays cold and the supplies are out! As all the staff is currently absent, visitors are kindly advised to bring their own victuals to clean up after themselves.
Old House on Lake Lucerne
On a Sunday’s drive and walk, we found this fascinating old house on Lake Lucerne. By looking at the building, it seemed as there could still be people living in. Together with the many pedestrians there, a closer examination was tempting but seemed not possible.
